Upper Keys YMCA: Junior Marine Biology Camp

Thanks in large part to a $35,000 grant from the Foundation’s Community Grants Fund, more than 60 Key Largo children ages five to 13, a majority of them economically disadvantaged, had a unique and exciting opportunity to attend a 10 week Junior Marine Biology Camp this past summer.

The fun and educational camp featured a variety of hands on marine biology field trips, a number of which are pictured in the photo gallery link below. The Foundation is also a sponsor of the Upper Keys YMCA Tennis Program.
